LEKATO Pedal Board With Built-in Power Supply | REVIEW
Let's review this pedalboard from LEKATO with a built-in power supply! This power supply features DC power in 9v, 12v, 18v at 200mA. Each channel also features separate short-circuit protection to keep those valuable pedals safe is something goes wrong. This guitar pedal board weights 2.97lb with the demension of 19.1x12.2x1.8 inch. It's a great medium sized board that can easily accommodate those larger pedals such as a wah wah or Stymon Blue Sky. The pedalboard is made of aluminum alloy which helps keep the weight down of the board but also makes it study for stomping on your favorite pedals gig after gig. It's also designed with a slight slope to help you step on those harder to reach pedals at the top of your board. It also comes with a lightweight bag with decent padding to keep your gear safe from the elements or being banged around in the back of your band trailer.

    I’m torn between this guitar and the Ibanez AZ 7 with poplar burl. I prefer Charvel San Dimas necks - is the Charvel 7 string close or would the Ibanez AZ be a closer match? Thanks!

    • @aminorerror
      @aminorerror 10 днів тому

      I'm pretty sure all of the San Dimas necks are 6 string versions so the profile will def be slightly different due to the added width, so an apples to apples comparison might be a little tricky. This neck felt pretty thin and flat in the middle, and while I haven't played the Ibanez AZ you mentioned reviews of it said it had a slightly beefier neck so maybe the AZ would be best. If possible def go to a local shop and see if you can play them back to back to see which you like the most. Hope that helps, good luck and thanks for watching!

      @@aminorerror thanks for the response mate, really appreciate it! I got the Sage Green one used and I really like it - the neck is gonna take some time to adjust to given the extra width but will give this a go for a few months to see if I can hack it. Cheers!

    I was so going to buy this untill I heard that putting the in guitar amp vol to anywhere above 50% will result in perpetual feedback. I wanted to be my GO TO travel guitar + using it for small cafe open mic gigs/ busking but considering I can't crank up the volume without that jarring vibration has left me truly sceptical.....I have other standard guitars but needed dedicated ones for the travel companion......I'm now eyeing the blackstar carryon guitar with a portable GTR fx pedal/headphone amp like the mooer prime or nux mighty plug pro..... Really hoping someone debunks that excess feedback thing on this go sonic so that I can pick one up

    • @aminorerror
      @aminorerror 12 днів тому

      The feedback is only an issue on high gain amp tones and it's def not designed to be loud enough to be used for an open mic gig. This is for bedroom practicing volumes only, thanks for watching

    yeah.... I own both a Cutlass CT50 and JR6 - They sound different for sure, but not in a bad way!! Stainless steel frets will ping a bit but I think it depends more what I play through. The JR6 has nickel frets with a 16" radius and it's just made for sweep picking and fkn Rocks! The high E string can be a bit too close to the bottom of the neck but other than that the bridge flutters wonderfully, the middle position gives me that Polyphia tone and it Djents very well. I love my sterling guitars!

    I really wanted to like the Cutlass but the one I received was a total trash fire. It couldn't intonate properly or stay in tune for longer than a few seconds. They installed the trem posts crooked and drilled the rear plate holes well through the front. The bridge was the lowest quality metal I've ever dealt with. I'm upset because, on paper, it was the perfect guitar. But even the Squier Sonic guitars are higher quality.

      Thanks for watching and giving the channel a sub! My experience hasn't been that and I've spent quite a few hours using the guitar (that should be pretty obvious from my demo track too). Maybe they've changed the quality of the frets or some other people aren't the best at using a light touch when playing (that goes even more so for bending). The zero fret on this guitar is the component I'm most skeptical of lasting. Strandberg uses a higher quality/harder stainless steel fret for their zero frets and they still have problems with them wearing (although all of my 'bergs have been solid).

    I got this guitar same finish for 359.99 used. At that price it's a mod platform, and after upgrading saddles and hardware and a big brass block with routing to make room, an extra spring to keep the trem plate decked, all told i am in about a hundred fifty in parts and tools and about 4 hours of work. It roars, but still has that relative lack of high end articulation for something that's supposed to be a screamer. The floyd special is awful and 100% the worst element of this guitar, i replaced everything but the plate and posts with stainless or hardened steel. Still junk compared to the original floyd on my esp. I want to love this guitar, but you're right even with sustain for days its not very tonally vibrant. I wonder about the paint, and may strip it. If i do, i'll update on what the body composition turns out to be. Wouldn't be surprised to find a bunch of basswood scrap chunks glued up like a walmart steak.

    Pretty much everything you reviewed was spot on. However (yes, here it omes), the whole wood thing and its role in tone left me disappointed....

    I couldn't disagree more with pretty much everything you said in this video. My Sterling JP60 beats most of my Fender guitars (and theyre between 1000 and 2500 bucks)...

    The frets on these guitars are super hard. They weren't listed as Stainless steel but seem super strong.

    Kiesel also only offers one type of fisman pickup (unless you get a signature model) but they don’t just offer fishmans, they have their Kiesel brand pickups, Seymour Duncan’s certain models, and the option to send your own pickups in. So strandberg really is shooting themselves in the foot with these decisions.
